THIS is a page turner, holy shit. I could not put this down. Jet is 27 and is attacked in her home one night. She wakes up and finds out she has one week before a brain aneurysm will rupture and surgery only has 10% survival odds. She decides to live out the week and solve her own murder, with the help of her childhood friend Billy.
Is it realistic that Jet can endure a traumatic brain injury and still run around town playing detective? No. Did I foresee who the murderer was before the end? Yes. HOWEVER, the twists and turns are so good and keep you guessing the whole time. Also, I love Jet, Billy, and Reggie the dog ❤️
Even though there were some loose ends and unrealistic plot elements, I had so much fun reading this.
