What an enjoyable read. I loved the FMC so much, Elizabeth Zott makes you want to be a Chemist. Just prepare yourself to experience ALL the feels. Rage, sorrow, joy and everything in between. I still find myself thinking about these characters, still rooting for them. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed the uniqueness of this book. I read it for my Book Club and I'm not sure I would have picked it up without that nudge. Jamie and I talk about how this one fed our fire of feminist rage and that is the truth. Being mentally put in the FMC's shoes as a Chemist in the 60's enduring so much sexism and hardships….really fuels that fire. But you are rooting so hard for her the entire time and it makes this book fabulous. This has some trigger stuff so check that but if you like being enraged a little like us - check it out!
