I picked this standalone up during October for a quick "spooky season" read and it definitely fit the creepy bill. A lot of people love this book, it just wasn't my cup of tea. There is just a LOT going on for a standalone and I had trouble following along. ADHD? Likely. It's very paranormal, very ominous, very creepy, very…WTF is going on. The. Entire. Book. Some people love that. I don't. I need answers, dammit. I was actually just reading a summary to make sure I remembered it all correctly and was like, oh, I definitely did not get that. But hey, if you like a strange, ominous, creepy standalone - this might be for you!
