All the Colors of the Dark

First of all, how dare this book make me feel every single emotion on the emotional spectrum. It's like a darker, more heartbreaking Forrest Gump. Every character is pure gold. Patch and Saint will live in my head forever. Pirate boy and beekeeper girl forever 🥹🏴‍☠️🐝

It's part thriller, part mystery, part love story, but not in the way that you think. The author is genius for how all the strands were woven together at the end. Just 🤯🤯🤯 wow.

Got a tiny bit slow in the middle and I don't like being SAD. EVER. But it's also bittersweet and the good outweighs the bad.

I don't usually Audiobook, but when I do - it's these types of books. And, I LOVED it. Wow, wow, woweeee (insert Borat's voice here please)! I mean, the spanning of decades, tying in all of the world events, the flawed but insanely lovable characters you want to save and protect at all costs, the mystery aspect….it was an Audible Best Book of the Year for a reason and that is accurate AF! God, I still think about this book and feel so many feels. Buckle your seatbelt for that rollercoaster of emotions but it is so worth it.

The topics are heavy so check trigger warnings if you need to, but even with the dark and heavy topics, you will be sucked into this story until the very end. This is one of those stories that will stick with you, maybe forever. Highly recommend if you need a little breaky break from the dragon porn. 😏
