Kringletown Christmas is a interconnected standalone series about a town that treats Christmas like a full-contact sport and insists on living inside a snow globe year-round, aka Colorado, ha! Every book follows a deeply Grinch-adjacent local who just wants to hibernate or focus on their own life, only to be emotionally jumped by a sunshiney love interest, a cutthroat Christmas Kringle contest or treat of demolishing the family tree farm and enough tinsel-based peer pressure to qualify as bullying. Expect fake dating used as a competitive strategy, ex–childhood friends turned nemeses, and a town so aggressively festive that therapy should really be part of the social services. By the time the lights come down, hearts have grown three sizes, reputations are ruined via caroling, and at least one grump discovers that the true meaning of Christmas is public humiliation plus kissing, maybe a candy cane and/or popcorn garland is also involved??
