This duet is DARK, you guys. The trigger warnings at the front of each book are real. I was like how bad can it be? Let me tell you, it’s BAD. And the 2nd book is significantly darker than the 1st. I had to keep reading and finish them which possibly means I am deranged, but I am so glad to be done with them. I read some easy breezy recovery books after I was finished to help me see the light again.
